I can’t let today go by without commenting on the dreadful events in London and first my heartfelt sympathy to all the victims and their families. My thanks to President Trump and the many people in the States and indeed all over Europe who have sent their good wishes and sympathy. Indeed the victims come from Romania, France, Spain and Germany and from all walks of life.
I detest terrorism I won’t deny it and I had no sympathy at all for Martin McGuiness who was buried today, no matter what he did in the later stages of his life, those of us affected by the IRA bombings can’t forget or really forgive either. As for the terrorist yesterday I’m afraid I would have left him dying on the ground with no anaesthetic at the time, however in the cooler atmosphere prevailing today I realise that would make me no better than him. Apparently he was known to the police. All I want to say is that if they are known Islamic terrorists then they should be deported to the first available muslin state who will take them in, they should NOT be kept here and this is where I can see what President Trump is trying to do and it may seem harsh but he is thinking of the safety of his American citizens, I only wish our Government would do the same.
